LG got a new competitor on its wallpaper TV segments, as Xiaomi has announced a new wallpaper TV Mi Mural.
The Mi Mural TV comes with a 65-inch Super thin 4k resolution wallpaper style design. The TV has a beautiful tailor-made Samsung display panel which is super thin and looks like a normal wallpaper.
Along with this Xiaomi is also offering some artworks in 22 genres from 45 artists to be showcased next to this TV.
Mi Mural TV has the thickness of just 13.9mm with a flat back design. So it will stuck on the wall like a painting.
To achieve this design Xiaomi mounted its power supply in the lower host. So, the speakers, motherboard, and the power supply are integrated into the host at the bottom.
Xiaomi developed a new MiPort line which supports 18Gbps HD signal transmission and 400W high power supply for the screen and the host. Xiaomi reports that this one line sports 30 cables inside, including its high-power supply and high-resolution video signal wire.
The host features an Amlogic quad-core 65-bit processor which is clocked at 1.8GHz with Mali-T830MP2 GPU. Besides, It has 2GB+32GB of memory on board.
Further, it supports 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi signals, Bluetooth 4.2, and sports 3x HDMI ports and 2 x USB ports. It also features a six-channel Soundbar and subwoofer for Dobly experience.
Moreover, you can even showcase your family portraits and photographs as a slideshow, jut like Samsung and LG.
It also supports the company’s recent AIOT initiative. So, you can remotely view and control all of your smart home connected devices on the large screen on Mi Miral.
Xiaomi launched the Mi Mural TV at 6999 Yuan ($1042 USD) and pre-orders will start at 6 PM in China today.
