Alongside the launch of the global variant of Redmi Note 7 pro, Xiaomi today at an event in China has introduced a new budget smartphone Redmi 7 which is the successor of last year’s popular phone Redmi 6.
Design:- Design wise the Redmi 7 does not seem to be much different than the Redmi Note 7, both the devices look very similar to each other in terms of design and there is a good thing to notice that it comes with P2i nano-coating property which makes the phone splash resistant.
Display:- The phone has a 6.26″ water drop HD+ resolution (720×1520 pixels) display which offers 19:9 aspect ratio and supports 84 percent NTSC color gamut and interestingly it is a TUV Rheinland display, which means, it effectively reduces the emission of harmful blue rays to protect your eyes while using the phone at night, and under the hood, it also has a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Redmi 7 sports a 12+2 megapixel dual rear camera setup with an f/2.2 aperture. The phone also has an 8-megapixel front shooter which loaded with several preloaded features such as AI Smart Beauty, Selfie Timer and Face Unlock for security reason.

2GB RAM/ 16GB: ¥699 (₹7,100)/($104 USD)
3GB RAM/ 32GB: ¥ 799 (₹ 8,200) /($119 USD)
4GB RAM/ 64GB: ¥999 (₹10,200) /($148 USD)
All these three variants comes in Dream Blue, Charm Night Red, and Bright Black color options with gradient finishes and will go on sale in China from March 26, at 10 am local time.
