Techo Electra, a new Indian manufacturer of electric vehicles has introduced a new made in India electric scooter the Emerge. which promises to deliver 80km mileage on a single charge. So what else it is providing let’s look into this.
The design of the e-scooter is neither classic nor modern, rather it is a fusion of both. Even The “High Rigid Tubular Chassis” makes it ergonomic and looks gorgeous.
The scooter operates by a 250w BLDC motor and which promises to give you up to 80km of riding the range on a single charge. Whereas the motor is powered by a 48V 28 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery, which takes 4-5 hours to fully juiced up.
Both the wheels are alloy wheels and come with a Tubeless tire. For the braking system, it uses a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
The suspension of the scooter is also very good, because at the front it has telescopic suspension, while at the rear it comes with a Dual Mono Suspension which altogether gives you a smooth and jerky free riding experience even on a rough road.
The scooter has a very large boot space with 12ltr capacity, where a full-sized helmet fits perfectly with some space left for other belongings. Even it has a pocket storage under the handlebar, where you can keep your smartphone or other small belongings.
Other than this, the scooter has 150mm of ground clearance and which is really good for a country like India where speed bumper is a common thing, even where there is no need.
The Emerge e-scooter comes with 3 color option such as red, black and yellow and has priced at ₹ 72,247 (Ex-showroom, Pune).
